Oncology, specialists at the Hutchinson Cancer Center provide comprehensive
care through all aspects of cancer prevention, early detection and
treatment.
We have on-site facilities to make a proper
diagnosis and to establish the extent of the disease, as well as to plan and
deliver the proper course of therapy.
There are three main types of cancer
treatment: surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. They may be used
alone or in combination.

Dr. Khalid Kambal, Oncologist. Dr.
Kambal is a warm and caring specialist with a strong background in
treating cancer. Dr. Kambal completed his fellowship in medical oncology
at
Howard
University
in Washington,
D.C.
and previously worked in cancer care centers in Washington D.C. and
Kentucky. Family connections and his wife's graduate education brought
the Kambals to Minnesota. |
