Do new
hires go through orientation?
All new employees go
through an extensive orientation in which they receive
an overview of our organization and services, a tour of
the hospital, and an introduction to Human Resource

New employees also
receive training on our computer system and take a
series of computerized "Net Learning" courses.
The courses are all short modules on topics that are
important for working in a health care setting.
In addition to these
sessions, all employees have a specific departmental
orientation for introduction to staff and to the
functions of the job.
