We
believe it’s essential to get our younger generation
excited about the good work we do in healthcare. We
offer a number of opportunities for students, including
Internships, Job Shadowing, Clinical Rotations, and
Junior Volunteers positions. Junior
Volunteers The
Junior Volunteer program is designed to encourage youth
to get involved with their community by providing
volunteer services to hospital patients and staff.

This time frame is
required to ensure there is enough time to have everything in
order when you arrive.
After
the student or teacher has made contact, a packet of information
will be sent out. This packet must be completed
and returned prior to your first day on site. The packet includes safety information, a
confidentiality form and a parental consent form.

Immunizations must be up to
date for intern students In addition, a
tuberculosis screening and a
criminal background check must be completed.
Job Shadow
Shadowing involves a
student observing an employee for a designated period of
time. The
student does not participate in providing care or
treatment.
